We used the Barrio ambulance to get to and from the clinic as our car is still out of commission
We are still waiting for my online order of water pump assembly and I hope that I will going to receive it tomorrow if not before Friday otherwise my mother will have to re-schedule for using the ambulance if we will not receive my order tomorrow or by Thursday.
We could have used the car by now if not for my father discovering that the water pump assembly needs replacing. I already bought three other parts but the discovery of the faulty water pump just created another inconvenience.
As I said in my other writing, this car has a fuel consumption issue because the carburetor also needs replacement aside from the suspension system. It really is not surprising because the engine is old but it is tough to say the least and will possibly run forever with just maintenance work like we are just doing right now which includes oil regular changes based on mileage.
This is the only car that we can use but I am thankful that my sister gave it to us so that we can have something to use because otherwise I will have o be forced to at buy another vehicle because I also do not want to use the other old car that my brother owns because it is just too rotten already that the splashes coming form the right front tire is spraying on that passenger side because the bottom part of it is already eaten by rusts plus I am on all fours when I ride it because it has a stiff suspension system and I can feel every small pebble that the tires run over with.
Anyway after the engine is fixed with some of its parts we can hopefully use it again but like I said, still more fixing and or replacing has to be done to make the car run better and safer. But I really need a car with a higher ground clearance because it will make it more usable come flooding happens rather than if flooding happens, this car is as good as nothing because it is a Sedan and really is not designed with the kind of terrain and road conditions that we have in this tropical country where I live.
