Insects:)Left Footed Bug

in CCS7 days ago (edited)

Photography is really one of the hobbies I can't do without especially taking shoots of my environment. During my leisure i move around gardens, bush and forest kind of location to capture everything, I don't just capture insects but other natural existence like flowers, plants and landscapes.

I started long ago with my redmi10c smartphone before getting RedmiNote13 which is more better in macro shots. 108megapixel captures closer shots better than redmi10c which blurs if it's zoomed to 3.5.

I have one major problem here and it's about the setting the location. My camera settings on my phone is on but it's not still giving me the map coordinates, all I have is the time, file info, EXIF data and local path. That aside, I won't stop making nature photography posts because of that difficulty. Let's Go.

About Left Footed Bug

Last week I photographed a caterpillar changing its habitat, today is about left footed bug also name as "family Coreidae". The insect stays mainly on plant's stem and leaves to take in juice, the juice is gotten by sucking. It's known as the left footed bug because their legs looks like leaf extension. The brown left footed bug survive mainly by sucking juice from plants and fruits. They stay in warm areas feeding on plants while laying eggs on plants in row.

The left footed bug helps too to complete the ecosystem when they're being fed by other preys being spiders and birds.

My experience while taking those shots

At first I wanted to use old photos I took some months ago because it was raining heavily in my area. The rain seemed like a never ending kind of rain, I had to wait about for it to stop or just drizzle for the photoshoot. My RedmiNote13 smartphone gives me a good boost that the picture will come out so well even with the bad weather.
Being it macro shots I used x3.5 and 4 to zoom on the subject snapping. I stayed in the bush for some minutes snapping and recording video. I later retouched it abit on lightroom.

Topic & Feedback

The research and photographic quality are good; you meet the most important requirements, such as the theme and detailed description. You add a video, and that's good, but the insect appears for less than 15 seconds in a 1-minute-and-20-second video. Just make better use of it. To locate the geographic coordinates, you can use Google Maps.

Points for improvement: adopt the title format (insect name + country), which you can adjust for future entries. Interact with your comments to other participants. And make sure the shots are varied: close-up, a full shot, and a wide shot of the insect in its environment. Remember to include the citations and references you consulted. I see you in Week 3
