Moonrise with Red Bridge

The new point of moon survey that I explored in the winter has borne fruit – I captured the celestial body in the summer! It took a very long time to wait for the right position of the lunar disk so that this ball would come out directly over the Red Bridge and the ships.

The shooting point is located under another bridge, Oktyabrsky.

Now I have all Vologda bridges with the moon!

There is still one unclosed gestalt – the sunrise or sunset of the moon from the Oktyabrsky Bridge, where the view of it opens from the Red Bridge...that is, the reverse scheme of this one.

While the moon was hiding in the haze, I tried to shoot in the other direction.

Since last year, I've liked this place: the ruins of an ancient bridge.

And as soon as the moon appeared, I continued to shoot the remains of the former wooden bridge, combining it with water lilies.

Anyway, the moon is already at dawn, even despite the haze.

Then I tried to improve last year's angle and climbed on wooden piles.

I would to wait for a lower water level, if there is one, and go to the other side of the bridge – there are also logs sticking out there.

But I couldn't get a view with a rhythm from the piles.

In general, this place has become one of my favorites in the city, which I will visit every summer
