Surely, it's painful when someone stabs you in the back, or in other words, you were being betrayed. However, it's more painful when you see who stabbed you. They're like killing you slowly in emotional manner. Hence, it's difficult to take back the trust you had given them.

It was a great walk in the park. I was tired from supervising the construction walk, but it's soothing to have a walk afterwards.
