You may lose some friends because you didn't do what they wanted or you did something that they don't want. They were there hoping for you to fail. It may be brought by jealousy. Yes, jealousy is damaging. It's like termites which destroys friendships.

It was a beautiful walk around Wright Park. It was cold then.
