Hello dear friends,
I hope you all are doing well and spending a beautiful life with your loved ones. I wish you all happiness and peace.

As a parent, there’s perhaps no greater pain than seeing your child fall sick. My daughter Nusaiba—just a year and a half old—suddenly became ill. During the day, she seemed somewhat calm, although she had a mild fever and showed slight signs of a cold and cough. I assumed it might just be a seasonal chill. But as the night progressed, her condition worsened rapidly.

When I returned home from work, I found her without her usual cheerful smile, her body hot with fever, and eyes full of discomfort. It was a heartbreaking sight. Without delay, I rushed her to a nearby pediatrician.

The doctor said it appeared to be a viral infection, accompanied by cold and cough. He prescribed Ace Suspension for fever and pain, Odafen for allergy and cold relief, and Monas tablets, typically used for airway inflammation and cough symptoms. Additionally, he advised Rhinex nasal drops in case her nose became blocked during the night, causing difficulty in breathing.

He also warned that if there was no improvement within 2–3 days, antibiotics might be needed. The very thought of giving antibiotics to such a little child filled me with worry. It made me realize how fragile these moments can be.

That night was truly a nightmare. Nusaiba cried almost the entire night. At times she coughed nonstop, other times she shivered due to the cold. She didn’t want to eat or sleep, and nothing could soothe her. For us, as parents, it felt like a true test of patience and endurance. Watching her suffer made us feel completely helpless. Neither I nor her mother could sleep the whole night. We managed to get barely two hours of sleep in the early morning.

Still, I had to get up and go to work. Duty doesn’t wait, even when the heart is heavy and the body is exhausted. Sitting at my desk, my mind kept drifting back to Nusaiba. How is she now? Has the fever gone down?

It’s in moments like these that I understand: being a parent is not just about love—it's about deep sacrifice. When your child is in pain, nothing else in the world matters. No success, no schedule, no responsibility feels as urgent as their recovery.

All I can do now is pray to Allah for her speedy recovery. Her smile is the greatest joy in our lives, and I can’t wait to see it again.

Sharing this experience is not just about expressing my own emotions—it's also to reach out to others who may be going through the same struggle. If your child is unwell, don’t give up. Stay strong, give them the care and love they need, and trust that with proper treatment and prayer, they will bounce back stronger, In Sha Allah.

Thanks all
