I went for a walk that morning, the sun shining on my back from the right side. I started photographing other elements and suddenly noticed some bees taking advantage of this cluster of light violet flowers to have their breakfast.

I decided to seize the moment. The opportunity was unique: good light, easy to zoom in with my phone camera, and the bee didn't seem to mind my presence. I don't know the name or species of the flowers; this time, Google Lens wasn't helpful, and its results weren't very reliable.

This shot is one of my favorites, as is the one I used on the cover. I particularly like this one for its composition, the slightly slanted lines, and the low angle shot that reveals the stems of the flower cluster. And of course, the bee stands out.

The camera performed very well; I got good close-ups in both horizontal and vertical positions. I worked in macro mode, and I think I did a good job. Later, when I reviewed the photos, I really liked the color combination: the green tones of the background, the almost furry texture of the tiny flowers, and the cute bee.

That day I felt relaxed and proud. I got some good shots and learned a lesson that made me connect with the beauty of nature and its compositions of elements. At home, I did the post-editing with Lightroom, focusing on cropping and brightening colors.
