I need a distraction
Lately, let's say in the last couple of weeks, I've been having that feeling that nothing is as it is supposed to be.
Also, that almost nobody does what they're supposed to do, for instance, my fresh experience with a big company sending me contracts and they are screwing it hugely three times in a row.
This was part of renewing my two-years contract my the mobile carrier I've been using in the last years.
My goodness, this happened (and is still happening) to become such a huge saga. I should probably write a separate post to share my experiences, just if anyone is considering to become a digital nomad in the Bulgarian countryside. Well, long story short, don't! :) However, stay tuned, I promise this will be entertaining, for the reader. For me - not so much, as I spent so much time, speaking with almost ten people on the phone, having to bargain with the half of them; visiting courier offices for documentation, etc. Probably I wasted more than two full days if I am counting. Still counting, for that matter...
Moreover, perhaps I mentioned that but we are doing some partial house repairs and guess what - when I fix one thing, two new issues appear. Almost similarly to the fairy-tale with the three-headed dragon and the prince where once a head is chopped off, two new appear...
When I shared this with my partner, she said it is the "retrograde Mercury".
To be honest, I never believed in that matter, I am even keen to mock people who are into horoscopes and especially those who pay for such kind of "advice".
Perhaps I shouldn't do that anymore, huh.
Should I go to church and light a candle? As prayers doesn't seem enough. Or am I guilty of something I don't realize of? I hope I find out soon.
So today I checked online that "retrograde Mercury" stuff and the search results reveal "July 17 - August 11, and November 9 - November 29. These periods are often associated with communication issues, travel delays, and technological glitches".
I have to admit, "communication issues, and technological glitches" I had plenty in the last two weeks. (By the way, StarLink crashed a couple of days ago, was offline for several hours) But maybe I am starting to see things where nothing is...
I am starting to feel powerless already, I feel I spend too much energy to fight the entropy of those days.
I am considering to put everything non-essential on pause.
It is unbearably hot outside anyway, with mercury (the other one, inside the thermometers ;)) hitting +40 C.
As the old commercial was saying... "Take a break, have a... " few cool travel sea photographs :) That would be my distraction, I am focusing back on the beauful small things that are within my reach... (the series captured near the shores of Black Sea, Bulgaria)

Now I'm starting to wonder if the whole country wasn't born under the sign of Mercury, but a retrograde one. Or, due to some special combination of circumstances, it constantly falls under its influence. Because what you wrote is so traditionally Bulgarian. Maybe the special period now only intensifies it.😂
I can't say whether I believe in astrology. Rather not, but nevertheless, by suggestion or something else, retrograde periods are really intense in terms of confusion. Well, in Bulgaria this is hard to notice, because it's like that every day 😃
But the fact that you noticed it is really something. I can only sympathize with you.

We tend to believe to stuff that makes our lives and decisions easier, and especially to those that "transfer" the responsibility to someone/something else ;) Easier to blame the others for our own mistakes...

There is this meme that says: Stop blaming yourself for your failures; learn astrology and blame the planets!
But the thing is, no matter how many times I've asked for such a consultation, either nothing of what was predicted has happened, or the exact opposite has happened. That's why I don't believe in astrology, and I also can't blame even the planets for anything. 😆 Maybe only the astrologers, because they are such frauds.

Re: astrology advices, you haven't paid enough, is my guess :P It is spiritual but those bodies carrying the spirits need food and drinks, and luxury clothes, usually :P
It's not about the pay. Astrologers have their rates and you pay whatever they ask you to. It's not about: We agreed on one amount, and you gave me another, so now I won't tell you the truth.
Or do you mean that there are expensive astrologers and cheaper ones? And depending on which one you seek for a consultation, you get the corresponding quality?
I don't think that's the case. The expensive astrologers are the ones who have artificially inflated their prices based on some fabricated fame. They're just incompetent. Every single one of them. It is impossible that centuries ago all aristocrats and rulers had personal astrologers and based their actions on their advice. And today, people who do this cannot tell you the main actions and consequences in your personal life, due to the arrangement of the planets. Or are they only so incompetent in Bulgaria, where every impostor tries to make money by fraud and at the expense of others?🤔
