Between Mangroves and Fishing Boats

This morning, after my routine of taking my children to school, I decided to give myself some space, at that time, I took a break from my daily activities and returned to exploring nature not far from home. My destination was a river that was only about 10 minutes away, but always able to present a tranquility that felt so far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

As soon as I arrived at the riverbank, my view was immediately greeted by a stretch of mangrove trees that grew lushly and lined up neatly along the banks. The air felt cooler, the aroma of wet soil and brackish water combined to create an atmosphere that soothed the soul. The trees seemed to be natural guardians, creating a shady and peaceful green corridor.

The sound of the oars cutting through the surface of the water brought my gaze to the figures of fishermen going back and forth on simple boats. They looked busy, but calm—living their lives with a rhythm that was in harmony with nature. Not far from there, fish cages stood as witnesses to their hard work in maintaining the sustainability of life from the flow of this river.

Because access to the location was quite limited, I chose to capture this beauty from the air using a drone camera. From above, the extraordinary landscape is clearly visible: a fisherman slowly rowing his boat among the shadows of the trees and the reflection of the sky on the water's surface. The view is so magical, it's as if time slows down in this place.

For me, this moment is not just a beautiful visual, but also an escape that touches the soul. There is a sense of peace, gratitude, and awe that is difficult to express in words.
