One picture one story

It was the IEEE day and I was present in the occasion where the new excise of the IEEE Greater Manchester branch was inaugurated. It is important to mention here that I was also an exco and we are the ones handing over to the new executives.

The above picture is a picture of myself when my head of school was presenting a certificate of service to me. It was indeed an amazing period for me and I was supper happy because this will count as part of the volunteer work I did here in the UK.

As you may have known, currently people applying for indefinite leave to stay in the UK must have a volunteer work as part of their contribution to the UK economic growth.

So people who wish to stay have to prove that they are adding something tangible to the society and not just getting from the society. Even though I may not be staying in the UK after my studies, these achievement will give me an edge in whatever I'm trying to get.
