Entering the Tangible "Monument Valley"

The Rehe Valley Sky Yard, nestled in Qijia Hot Spring Town, Longhua County, Hebei Province, is situated against a backdrop of mountains and alongside a creek, unfolding in a crescent shape along the canyon. The journey from Beijing reveals numerous, long-abandoned sections of the Great Wall.
The design thoughtfully incorporates social interaction, centering around the vision of "one courtyard per household." Residential units of 50 and 75 square meters are modulated into four architectural modules. These modules are stacked upon each other, creating three-story structures that forge a rich and engaging spatial hierarchy, evocative of a real-world Monument Valley.
