Fujian: The Pinnacle of Travel Destinations

in CCS14 hours ago

When temperatures in Fujian hover around twenty degrees Celsius, the province becomes ideally suited for travel.

In recent years, the number of tourists flocking to Fujian has steadily increased, making certain destinations feel increasingly crowded. However, there are places in Fujian that one must visit at least once.

Xiapu

Xiapu boasts numerous attractions, including the newly constructed Guangying Boardwalk in Sansha, Donghai No. 1 in Lvxia, and the S-Bend, a paradise for photographers – all highly recommended for photography and leisurely exploration.

Qida Village

Many have never heard of Lianjiang County. The village of Qida, with its resemblance to Rio de Janeiro, has catapulted this small county into the spotlight. It also features unique coastal erosion landforms, with boardwalks constructed at the North Jiaobi and Pingliuwei areas.

Siyu Islets

Reaching the Siyu Islets requires a boat trip from Jishi Wharf in Xiapu. The boat ticket costs approximately 100 RMB per person, though I cannot recall the exact price. After lunch on the main island, the island owner arranges a boat to take visitors to other islets for 70 RMB per person. Bringing a drone is highly recommended, as the aerial views are breathtaking. Even without a drone, the combination of the sea and grasslands is a dream destination for many.

Quanzhou

The photograph showcases Wudian City. Quanzhou encompasses more than just West Street and the old city. Jinjiang, Huian, and Shishi are also excellent destinations for tourism, offering opportunities to see the sea or simply unwind.

Dongshan Island

Dongshan Island served as a filming location for the movie "The Left Ear." The rows of small houses on Nanmen Bay have propelled it to fame. While there, it is advisable to witness a sunrise at Jinluan Bay and a sunset at Nanmen Bay. Also, visit Su Fengshan and Aojiao Village.

Meizhou Island

Meizhou Island is perhaps the most concentrated area for Mazu culture. Furthermore, it boasts not only a rich history and culture but also stunning scenery. The coastal Rainbow Road and coastal erosion landforms are exceedingly beautiful.

Pingtan

A three-day trip to Pingtan is ideal, with two days dedicated to the northern route and one day to the southern route. Transportation on the island is reasonably convenient, with electric scooters and public transport providing access to most attractions. Witnessing the Blue Tears phenomenon in Pingtan is a matter of luck; immediate action is necessary upon its occurrence.

Fujian Tulou (Earthen Buildings)

Located at the border of Nanjing and Longyan in Zhangzhou, the Fujian Tulou are a treasure of Chinese culture, embodying the wisdom of our ancestors. They also served as filming locations for the animated film "Big Fish & Begonia," seamlessly blending into the mountainous landscape. While many associate Fujian tourism with the sea, the province's mountains are equally captivating.
