The feeling of shopping from the market on a rainy day
Hello friends
How are you all? I hope you are all doing very well by the grace of God. I am also doing very well by your prayers. I am going to start today's new post by greeting and congratulating all the brothers and sisters of 'ccs' on my behalf. Today I am going to present to you the feeling of buying vegetables from Bamundi Market on a rainy day.
When I think of the afternoon of September 13, 2024, my heart still fills with joy. Because today is September 12, 2025. Like that day, it rained in the afternoon. Today, Friday, is the day of Bamundi Hat. Anyway, that day, the sky was cloudy all day, and in the afternoon, the drizzle brought a different atmosphere to the whole environment. I went to Bamundi Bazaar to buy some essential items. The raindrops were making a tinny sound on the roof of the rice shop, and people around were hurrying around the market with umbrellas on their heads or wet bodies. Like other people, we went towards the market. My friend Maruf and I were with us. First, we went to the vegetable shop. Fresh coriander, red tomatoes, shrimp, sweet pumpkin, cauliflower, green chilies, beans, okra and spinach seemed to be more sparkling in the rain water. The smile of the vegetable vendor and the smell of fresh vegetables combined to create a special joy in the market. I carefully bought the necessary vegetables, and it seemed that nature had arranged this market with her own hands. Occasionally, I noticed that the rain had waterlogged in places, so many people were having difficulty buying and selling.
For a long time, we two friends have been buying essential things from this market. Vegetables, simple dances, essential things, we buy anything from this market on Friday and Monday if possible. Even though it was a rainy day, we still had a lot of joy and love in our hearts. Because we two friends try to shop from here together every day. And you can understand that there is a different kind of love between two people coming to shop together. There is always a different kind of courage in our hearts. Keeping that love in mind, we both filled our own bags and started shopping for vegetables. Even though it was the month of Bhadra Ashwin, i.e. autumn, many winter vegetables were found in the market. So it can be said how advanced the farmer brothers of our country are in agricultural work. So it can be said that our people of Meherpur are quite advanced in agricultural work.
I visited the electronics shop twice before and after arriving at the market. Although the surroundings were wet and damp, the lights inside the shop were shining brightly. The shopkeepers were busy with various customers. I bought a small electric kettle and some wire switches. The experience of buying such essential electronics on a rainy day seemed to become more enjoyable. As soon as I left the shop, the cloudy reflection of the sky was visible in the water standing on the roadside. The rain, the crowd of people, the hustle and bustle of the market and the bags filled with shopping – all of it made the day truly different. That afternoon at Bamundi Bazar remains a calm yet vivid memory in my mind. My friend and I finished buying our essential electronics and headed towards the empty road. By then, there were a lot of people on the road. Then we went to where we had seen the motorcycle. We took the motorcycle and set off for home again.

Are you still having trouble with the rain in your city? I hope the rains clear up soon.
It's great to read that vegetable production has improved and is progressing in your region, and that there's now a variety.
An interesting story, good photos. But if you're looking to improve, I'd encourage you to get down close to the vendors and their stalls, and also the vegetables, next time. Shooting them from above makes them look distant.
Good post, my friend.
