RE: CONTINUED: #7 OFFICIAL Charity post on Steemit - Let's go beyond upvoting...

organize entertaining events for kids with disabilities - When I give to charities, Ii want those funds to benefit those most in need. Entertainment just doesn't meet my requirement as priority. As a disabled adult myself, I just don't think entertainment was ever on my I need list.

I have described our mission in more details in the previous posts, so here I just called it entertaining events.

To me more specific - we do cookinng and creative master classes. And the goal is far beyond having fun - our main idea is to give opportunity for these kids to integrate in the society. All our events are held in restaurants and public places, so we also thrive to make other people more aware of people with disabilities and get rid of prejudices!
Another important goal is help kids interact with each other and with others around them, develop communication skills.
And cooking and creative master classes are designed to improve their motor skills and concentration.

All our events are created to help these kids integrate in the society and find their way in the future!

We've been doing it for 3 years in Moscow and got a lot of positive feedback from the families. That's why we decided it to launch it in NYC.

And we are open for feedback and ideas - of you have some activities in your mind that might be beneficial for the kids with physical and/or menthal disabilities, we will be very thankful for your advice!
