Chicken Manchurian is very delicious Indo-Chinese chicken dish. It is softest chicken dish I’ve ever eaten. It is very easy so anybody can cook it; if one is a Chicken lover. Here is the recipe for mouthwatering Chicken Manchurian.

Ingredients for Chicken Manchurian

1 pound boneless chicken cut in small pieces

2 heaping table spoon all purpose flour/Maida

1 heaping table spoon corn starch

1 teaspoon ginger paste

1 teaspoon garlic paste

½ teaspoon freshly crushed black pepper/pepper corn

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon Red /Green Chilies paste

1 teaspoon Salt or to taste

¼ cup oil

Ingredients for Manchurian sauce:

1 tablespoon fresh garlic paste

1 tea spoon fresh ginger paste

1 medium onion chopped

2 spring onions chopped

4 green chilies chopped

¼ heaping cup ketchup.

1 tablespoon fresh ginger paste

1 table spoon vinegar

1 teaspoon soy sauce

Salt to taste

¼ cup green coriander leafs/cilantro chopped

Method:

Combine all the Ingredients chicken, Maida/all purpose flour, corn flour, eggs, ginger-garlic paste, crushed pepper corn, soy sauce, chili paste and salt. Mix them very well. Cover it and keep it in the refrigerator to marinate for 2 hours.

Heat a broad bottom nonstick frying pan. Add oil. Now spread marinated chicken pieces on the pan in a single layer. Cook them for 2-3 minutes now turn them to other side and cook again for 2-3 minute. Transfer them to the paper

In the same nonstick pan add chopped onion and green peppers; add ¼ teaspoon salt to let them cook faster. Keep stirring till they get golden brown; turn heat on medium.

Add ½ portions of spring onion, green chilies fry for 30 seconds.

Add ginger past fry for 10 seconds.

Add garlic paste fry for 10 seconds.

Add ketchup fry for 10 seconds

Add vinegar, Soy sauce, ¼ teaspoon salt. Mix very well cook for 30 seconds.

Turn off the heat. Now add fried chicken Manchurian, green coriander leafs and remaining spring onion mix them all together very gently and transfer to the serving dish.

All the ingredients are very important for the tangy flavor so don’t skip any of them. And use only fresh garlic paste.

Mouthwatering chicken Manchurian’s are ready to serve.
