Spiritual Realm Will Open Up for You, If Your Spiritual Eyes Are Open

우리네 교회의 설교나 성경공부는 이성적이고 합리적이고 상식적인 수준에서 가르치고 있습니다.

The church today teaches the Bible to people in logical and sensible ways.

그러나 성경은 영적 세계와 영적 존재에 대해 말하고 있죠.

The Bible speaks of spiritual beings and the realm.

영적 존재는 하나님과 천사 그리고 사탄과 귀신 등이며, 영적 세계는 두 진영이 사람의 영혼을 사이에 두고 질펀하게 싸우는 형국입니다.

The spiritual realm is divided into 2---God and angels against Satan and demons.

그러므로 교회의 지도자들은 영적 세계나 영적 존재에 대해 잘 알고 있는 영적인 사람이며, 성령과 동행하고 성령의 인도하심으로 성령의 능력을 겸비한 성령의 사람들이어야 할 겁니다.

So church leaders should know very well about this spiritual realm; they should be God-approved, with amazing spiritual power.

그러나 아이러니하게도 우리네 교회지도자는 신학교에서 학위를 받고 목사안수를 받은 이들입니다.

But ironically, our church leaders became leaders because they went to school for it.

아시다시피, 신학 역시 학문의 영역이라, 이성적이고 합리적인 방식으로 학문을 추구하고 업적을 인정합니다.

As you know, theology is also part of academia; so people are educated in logical, sensible ways.

말하자면 신학자들은 영적인 방식이나 성령의 능력이 아니라, 학문적으로 우수한 능력과 업적을 가진 사람들입니다.

In other words, pastors have more academic knowledge of the Bible and Christianity as religion, rather than actual spiritual power.

그러므로 신학교에서 신학을 배운 목회자들이 영적 능력과 아무런 상관이 없는 사람들이 되는 셈이에요.

So what you learn in seminary has nothing to do with faith and/or spiritual ability.

그렇다고 목사들이 영적인 사람이 아니라고 주장하는 게 아닙니다.

I’m not saying ALL pastors are faithless.

신학교의 학위가 영적인 인물이 되는 데 아무런 도움이 되지 않는다는 것이죠.

I’m just saying a diploma from seminary doesn’t automatically make you faithful.

그렇다면 영적 세계와 영적 존재에 대해 잘 알게 되는, 소위 영안을 뜨려면 어떻게 해야 하는지 생각해보고 싶습니다.

So I would like to talk about how to open up your spiritual eyes.

일어나 너의 발로 서라 내가 네게 나타난 것은 곧 네가 나를 본 일과 장차 내가 네게 나타날 일에 너로 종과 증인을 삼으려 함이니 이스라엘과 이방인들에게서 내가 너를 구원하여 그들에게 보내어 그 눈을 뜨게 하여어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아오게 하고 죄 사함과 나를 믿어 거룩하게 된 무리 가운데서 기업을 얻게 하리라 하더이다(행26:16~18)

16 ‘Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me. 17 I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them 18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’ (Acts 26: 16-18)

위의 구절은 사도바울이 다메섹 도상에서 예수님을 만난 사건입니다.

This passage talks about the time when Paul met Jesus in Damascus.

그 때 예수님은 바울에게 앞으로 해야 할 사역을 명령해주셨죠.

Jesus told Paul what he must do next.

그 사역이 바로 영안을 뜨게 하여, 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께 돌아오게 하는 일이라고 말씀하셨습니다.

Paul’s mission was to make people open their eyes and come back to God, from darkness to the light, away from Satna’s control.

어둠이란 악한 영이 지배하는 세계를 말하며 빛이란 하나님이 통치하시는 나라를 뜻합니다.

Darkness is the world Satan controls; the light refers to heaven where God reigns.

그래서 사탄의 권세 하에서 신음하고 있는 하나님의 백성들을 구원해서 하나님의 나라로 이끌어오라는 것이었습니다.

Paul was told to rescue God’s people from Satan and bring them back to God.

그렇다면 어둠에서 빛의 나라로 구원하는 맨 처음의 단계는 무엇일까요? 바로 눈을 뜨게 해야 한다는 겁니다.

So what’s the first step to take, in order to bring people from darkness to the light? To make them open their eyes.

이 눈은 육체의 눈이 아니라는 것을 어렵지 않게 알 수 있습니다.

And it’s obvious I’m not referring to physical eyes.

바로 영적인 눈인 영안을 뜨게 하는 것이죠. 그렇다면 영안을 뜬 사람들은 무엇을 깨닫게 될까요?

I’m referring to spiritual eyes. So what do people with spiritual eyes realize?

바로 어둠의 세계와 빛의 세계, 즉 사탄과 귀신이 가진 권세들에 대해 알게 된다는 겁니다.

They start realizing the authority of Satan and the demons.

그러나 안타깝게도 우리네 교회에서는 사탄과 귀신에 대해 가르치는 것은 고사하고 이들을 입에 올리지도 못하게 틀어막고 있습니다.

Unfortunately, the church today stops people from talking about spiritual entities and demons, let alone teaching them how to fight.

그 이유는 교회지도자들이 영적 세계에 대해 전혀 알지 못하며, 사탄과 귀신들의 정체와 그 공격에 대해 무지하기 때문이죠.

It’s because the leaders have no idea about the spiritual world and are ignorant about Satan, demons, and their ruse to attack.

그래서 거룩한 하나님의 교회에 사탄이 범접하며, 빛인 하나님의 백성들에게 어떻게 귀신이 공격하고 잠복하느냐는 선문답 같은 얘기만 하고 있으니 기가 막힌 일입니다.

That’s why they say demons cannot attack and control people because we are all God’s children.

영안이 감긴 사람들은 사탄과 귀신에 대해서 알지도 못하고 알 수도 없죠.

People who do not have their eyes open cannot know about demons.

하나님에 대해 아는 것도 성경지식을 머리로 이해하여 쌓아두는 것일 뿐, 하나님의 능력을 삶에서 드러내지 못하고 종교적인 의식과 희생적인 신앙행위를 반복하는 종교적인 사람들로 만들고 있을 뿐입니다.

They know God as a concept, a theory they’ve derived from the Bible. They didn’t show any signs of the Spirit; that makes people religionists, rather than the faithful.

그러나 영성학교는 아니에요.

But not CSA.

아시다시피, 영성학교는 약 5년 전에 성령의 명령과 인도에 의해 세워졌습니다.

As you know, CSA was founded about 5 years ago, through the Holy Spirit’s command and guidance.

그 전에 저희 부부에게 3년이 넘는 기간 동안 음성과 영음으로 영적 세계와 영적 존재에 대해 알려주셨고 귀신에 사로잡힌 사람들을 보내주셔서 귀신을 쫓아내고 정신질환과 고질병을 치유하는 과정을 통해 훈련시키셨습니다.

And before that, the Holy Spirit sent me people suffering from demons’ doing, in order to train me and my wife, even before CSA came into the picture.

그래서 영성학교의 훈련은 성령이 내주하는 기도훈련을 하고 있으며, 성령이 내주하는 성령의 사람이 되면 귀신을 쫒아내고 귀신들이 일으킨 고질병을 치유하는 영적 능력을 보유하게 되는 것은 물론입니다.

CSA trains people to seek God. Yes, you will show the ability to cast out demons and heal illnesses they caused.

말하자면 영성학교는 다메섹 도상에서 예수님께서 바울에게 하신 명령대로, 영적 눈을 뜨게 하여 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아오게 하는 사역을 하고 있는 셈이죠.

In other words, CSA abides by Jesus’ command to Paul, to train people to open their spiritual eyes to break free from Satan and come back to God.

그러나 아쉽게도, 우리네 교회는 귀신이야기를 하고 기도훈련을 시키는 필자를 이단비스무리하게 여기고 경계의 눈빛으로 바라보고 있습니다. 왜 그럴까요?

Unfortunately, the church today looks at me with disgust and consider me as a false prophet. The reason is simple.

자신들의 교회와는 사뭇 다른 것들을 훈련시키고 가르치고 있기 때문입니다.

I train something very different from the church teachings.

또한 입만 열면 귀신이야기를 하는 제가 달가울 리가 없죠.

And I’m sure they don’t want to welcome someone that constantly talks about demons.

그러면서 자신들은 영적 세계에 대해 알려고도 하지 않고, 영적 존재들을 궁금해 하지도 않습니다.

But, even then, they are not interested in the spiritual realm; they don’t ask about spiritual beings.

말하자면 육체의 눈으로 알 수 있는, 이성적이고 합리적이며 상식적인 내용들만을 학습하고 인정하고 있을 뿐입니다.

In other words, they are taught logical theology and teach others the same way they learned.

그래서 우리네 교회에서는 귀신을 쫓아내는 이들을 볼 수 없습니다.

So we cannot find people who can cast demons out.

귀신이 누구입니까? 바로 미혹의 영이죠. 미혹의 영은 속이는 영이라는 뜻입니다.

Who are these demons? They are the spirits of falsehood. Falsehood means deception.

그렇다면 예수님 시대에 우글우글하던 귀신들이, 지금은 사라지기라도 했다는 말일까요?

If they were everywhere during Jesus’ time, where have they gone?

지금도 우리 주변을 배회하며 영안이 잠기고 영적 능력이 없는 사람들에게 들어가서, 정신질환과 고질병에 걸리게 하며 각종 불행한 사건사고를 일으켜서 생명과 영혼을 사냥하고 있는 중입니다.

They are still here today; they hunt and devour people through mental and chronic illnesses and other misfortune.

그래서 목회자나 교인들은 세상 사람과 다름없이 정신질환과 고질병에 시달리고, 각종 불행한 사건사고로 고통스러워하며 살아가고 있습니다.

Christians and non-Christians alike, they suffer from various illnesses and a series of unfortunate events.

그런데도 여전히 영적 눈을 뜰 생각도 하지 않고 있으니 기이한 일입니다.

But strangely, no one even thinks about becoming spiritually keen.

그 이유는 미혹의 영이 우리네 목회자들의 머리를 타고앉아서 자신들의 생각을 넣어주어 속이고 있으며, 그들의 가르침을 받는 교인들은 영적으로 무지하며 깜깜할 수밖에 없죠.

That’s because spirits of falsehood whisper their ideas and thoughts into pastors’ head; people who learn from these pastors won’t be spiritually sharp.

그렇다면 영적 눈을 뜨려면 어떻게 해야 할까요?

Then what should you do to open your spiritual eyes?

항상 기뻐하라 쉬지 말고 기도하라 범사에 감사하라 이것이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라 성령을 소멸하지 말며 예언을 멸시하지 말고 범사에 헤아려 좋은 것을 취하고 악은 어떤 모양이라도 버리라(살전5:16~22)

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt21 but test them all; hold on to what is good, 22 reject every kind of evil.

(1 Thessalonians 5: 16-22)

위의 말씀이 바로 사도바울이 명령한 영적 눈을 뜨는 방법입니다.

This is what Paul commanded us to do for opening spiritual eyes.

쉬지 않고 하나님을 부르며 성령의 내주를 간구하여 성령을 모시면서 성령의 활동이 소멸되지 않도록 해야 한다는 것이에요.

We must continually call God, ask for the Holy Spirit’s indwelling, and keep that going so that the Holy Spirit doesn’t leave us.

그러므로 쉬지 않고 하나님을 부르는 기도면서 성령의 내주를 간구하는 기도의 습관만이 영안을 뜨는 유일한 길이며, 당신의 영혼이 사탄의 권세에서 하나님의 나라로 옮기는 지름길입니다.

So constantly seeking God and asking for the Holy Spirit to come is the only way of opening our spiritual eyes; that is the only way for our souls to break away from Satan and move toward heaven.
