• God centered life
- Let God be involve in everything you do with people in general, even in the affairs of your home.
- Report every matter to God. What you like or dislike in whatever anyone did to you.
- There are things I may not like or want to do, but If God said I should do it, my personal opinion would immediately be put aside.
- Also, there are things I may want to do, or things I may want to say, If God says No, my personal opinion would be discarded completely.
If you lived or cultivated this living, putting God at the centre of your life, in all you do; you cannot but always have God on your side to defend you in every matter. - Note: living such a life calls for being sensitive to God's leadings.
a. You train yourself up in how to know God's Will or mind on everything. You mortify or subdue or silence the deed and the voice of the flesh (Galatians 5:24; Colossians 3:5).
b. You would have to develop yourself in knowing how God communicates with you. Ways and signs He uses in communicating with you; when He frowns at a thing, and when He is in favour of a thing. Remember, He often communicates nonverbally!
c. You develop your sensitivity or perceptiveness about His leadings on every matter. How to hear Him, even in the midst of confusion and chaos. - The steps highlighted here could be achieved by not being emotionally in responding to situations. You always acknowledge God in all your ways, and depend not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5,6).
• To train yourself up spiritually, for uprightness and communion with God.
a. Be a student of the Word of God. Read and study the Bible meditatively (Joshua 1:8; James 1:22-25).
b. Do a lot of praying in tongues, the language of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:2; Jude 20).
c. Discipline yourself in talking. Someone who talks much lives a leaking life (Proverbs 10:19).
d. Fast in addition with your prayers to subdue your flesh. When you fast your flesh is subdued and your spirit, inward man, gains ascendancy or dominance (Matthew 17:21; 2 Corinthians 11:27).
e. Do not be a glutton. If you are a glutton, your depth in God would be shallow. And you might be far from hearing Him regularly or correctly.
- Note: If you can discipline yourself in talking, eating, sleeping, and other social barriers—watching of television for hours, be on social media for hours, needless or unnecessary visitations, and the likes.
- You do not have to become a slave of fake prophets, or an object of manipulation in their hands, in the name of knowing God's Will or plan!
- If you abided in the principles taught in this piece, practice them, you too would hear from God. He delights in speaking to and leading His children, the believers, in the way to go: "I WILL INSTRUCT YOU AND TEACH YOU IN THE WAY YOU SHOULD GO; I WILL GUIDE YOU WITH MY EYE" (Psalm 32:8 NKJV).
"WHO IS THE MAN WHO FEARS THE LORD [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with submissive wonder]? HE WILL TEACH HIM [through His word] IN THE WAY HE SHOULD CHOOSE."
Psalm 25:12 (Amps.)
• Be faithful to God and whoever you are relating with. God Judges or rewards the motives in every person's heart (1 Samuel 2:3).
- Your actions might be right, but If your motives are wrong, God will not bless what you do.
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Should there be any sickness in your body, I declare your healing now in Jesus' name.
- Whatever is contrary to your health and wellness is cursed and completely uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Peace!
