I use Steempeak, which has a much better interface in my opinion. They are pretty good about including quality of life features like this when people ask.

Just checked; can confirm that it definitely allows you to sort comments chronologically (newest and oldest).
I might have to make the switch one day. I just hate massive change.
I didn't want to show my well used Steempeak banner (I'm kind of known for propagating it)
