Clinic diary

Tayo is a pretty young woman. She would only be attended to by Dr Segun: who is a young male Doctor. There she come to the hospital. She has been having this back and chest pain for the past 1 week.
The clinic was busy as usual. And Dr Segun this time was attending to other patient.
"Is my doctor around?" She asked at the reception. madam you can wait for him . He is attending to other patient...
When she entered the consultation rooom.

'Good morning Madam'
'good morning Doctor'

What is your complaints today.?

I have been having this persistent back pain for the past 2 week.
The pain is just aching. And is getting worse as the day goes by.

The Doctor ask further questions and take notes.

Have you ever examined your breast.?

What is the relationship between breast and back pain.? She asked.

The doctor took time to explain the benefit of breast examination...

Miss Tayo is now getting more anxious. Her mum died of breast Cancer 2 years ago. At 58 years old. She had fracture of the leg bone which was attributed to spreading ( metastasis ) of the cancer.
Miss Tayo ( now 24 years old) was getting anxious...

What could it be.? She has disobey the oncologist counsel to go for breast cancer screening . Only her sister did.

This Handsome Dr Segun must not know my family history...

So she lied. I have no family history of breast cancer.

She has been coming to this hospital with fake symptoms just to talk with Dr Segun.

But this time , the symptoms are real.

Would Dr Segun consider her, ..
Dr Segun unaware of her motives asked...
"Can I examined you, "
Would you examined my breast also.
" Definitely, don't worry there would be a chaperone so that you would be comfortable.

Miss Tayo, would have been happier for Dr Segun to examine her without a Chaperone..

But this time she wouldn't .
She has been ignoring a lump in her left breast for the past 2 months .

The lump was painless, so why bother.

"NO problem, you can examine me."
Life before love she reasoned..
