One Picture And One Story Week #95
Celebration is important in our lives and on the same time raising a toast is quite significant during celebration.
Creating good memories with our loved ones could be one of the many ways to stay happy and of course, happiness is important for a healthy life.
In this case, we were celebrating a successful examination. Eight of my friends and I actually planned to create good memories amongst ourselves outside the walls of school. Picnic happened to be a perfect idea, we got to go out to where nature is appreciated, play games, take pictures, have fun and of course toast to strong friendship.
We got to the venue of our picnic, laid may and there were lots of eatable at the centre.
Started with an opening prayer and then we went ahead to pour wine, that was when we raised the toast.
It was't just a mere toast where people could say mere words.
It was a toast to the past, where we all started school, got to meet ourselves, together we grew having one another's back.
It was also a toast to the present, where we were gathered complete, filled with joy, no bad blood and full of life.
And then it was the toast to the future, where we hope to achieve so many things together as we grow.
All together, it was a toast to friendship.
Our picnic continued as we did a lot more like playing games, having discussions, taking so much pictures and also eating a whole lot of etables
All together, a toast is more than saying things, it would be mere words if we do not actually mean it.
It's more of a ritual and opportunity to express good things that have happened and good things we hope for as a team or a group.
