@littlenewthings Someone shared with me that they would keep their ang pao until the next CNY and then open it! You heard of anything like that before? Is it like a tradition or something?
that i am uncertain @kimgoh , but I usually do not open it until i need it. Haha.
Some used to keep then because they are usually new notes, and it can be recycled to be used on the next cny.
Also practices saving up mentality I suppose?
Hahaha! Good savings mentality indeed but even better saving mentality would be to open the ang paos and put some where the money can grow! Happy Chap Goh Mei!
that is what my sister in law is doing.
exchange with the kids (for the new notes) and accompany them to the bank to put in.
