The Steem Retrogames Game Fun – My Experience

The most fun thing about game is collecting points. The more obstacles you break more points you get. The result my first game was 705 points. The screen said in large letters – Game Over – Score: 705. At that time, I thought – if I had paid more attention, I might have crossed 1000 points.

This point system really encourages the player to play more. Because once I get more points, I feel like I will break the previous record this time.

Life System

In my game, it was 3. That is, the chance to make three mistakes. If the ball misses the paddle and falls down, then one life is lost.

The life system adds a challenge to the game. No matter how well you play, if you are not focused or if you speed up, you may miss the ball. As a result, there is always a kind of excitement in the game.

Token System

The most unique part of the game is the token system. When you run out of lives, you have two options—continue playing for free (if available) or purchase tokens to continue playing.

I was playing for free at first, but later I saw that there was an option to purchase tokens. The screen says:

Personal experience

I was very excited during my first game. At first it seemed easy, but after the ball’s speed increased, I realized that the real fun began. When “Game Over” appeared after getting 705 points, a kind of challenge was created inside me – I will play again, this time I will get 1000 points.

I also liked the token purchase screen, because it gave me a taste of blockchain-based gaming. I use STEEM myself, so I realized that this type of game is actually bringing cryptocurrency and entertainment together.
