Seeing the joy of children on the wet clay streets reminded me of my childhood.

My childhood on the wet mud road

Sometimes some scenes touch our minds in a way that we cannot easily forget. Today afternoon I was walking on our village road. After walking for a while, I reached Taltala, a dirt road on the side of Taltala with green paddy fields on both sides of the road, and the road in the middle is muddy due to the rain water. Suddenly my eyes fell on a corner of the road, where some boys from the area were playing with mud. Looking at them, I remembered my own childhood. Just like that, how many times we played with mud and water.

I was surprised to see their joy even in this era of modern toys. They do not have anything expensive, they only have some old tires lying on the side of the road. One is standing with a tire in his hand, another is sitting on the tire. The rest are pushing it forward from behind. Their faces are shining with smiles in this game, as if all the happiness in the world has accumulated in their eyes and faces. The mud on their bodies seemed to be a part of their joy.

Suddenly, one of them slipped, his whole body covered in mud. But he didn't cry, instead he laughed. Seeing his smile, the others burst into laughter. These smiles were completely genuine, without any artificiality. Seeing this scene reminded me of those days of my own childhood. When, not with expensive toys, but with an old bicycle tire and the laughter of friends, we would spend our days. The joy of playing in the mud is still vivid in my mind.

This pure joy of the children taught me that the true happiness of life does not lie in any object. It lies in simplicity and spontaneous laughter. I quickly took out my mobile and took some pictures of them. The pictures are not just some still images, they are reflections of my muddy childhood in my village. These pictures will remind me that no matter how many obstacles come in the way of life, it is not impossible to find moments of joy with a simple mind and a few good friends.
