Homemade Tomato and Garlic Ketchup
It another new week with new learning challenges. Time is really flying, we now reached season 27 week 1 of steemit learning challenge. After digesting my teacher's explanations on how to prepare homemade ketchup with garlic. I was motivated to submit my homework task for the week. Please read my opinions below through the challenge questions.
Prepare Homemade Herbal Ketchup with Garlic. Share complete step by step process. At the end share the handwritten username and date with Ketchup.
In preparation of this homemade ketchup with ginger, we need the following ingredients.
Ingredients | Quantity |
---|---|
Fresh Tomatoes | 1 kg |
White vinegar | Half Cup |
Salt To taste | 1/4 teaspoon |
Garlic | 6 yokes |
Red Chili | To taste |
Sugar | Half Cup |
In a clean dry bowl,I poured in they require quantity of fresh tomatoes. I added enough water and wash my tomatoes properly.
I used knife and gently peel, the back of garlic and properly wash it as well. I then set them aside.
In another clean dry bowl, I chopped the fresh tomatoes into smaller pieces.
I transfer them into a Wash clean pot. I pour in half cup of water into the tomatoes and set up and light up my cooker.
After few minutes,I added my garlic and cover the lid,I allow it to boil. As instructed, this first process, takes about five to seven minutes.
At this point, it was ready, I put it in a juicer blender and grinded it. Now it was completely ground.
After that, I filtered it so that the peel and seeds were separated. I use cloth and seive it well.
I put the filtered solution back into the pot, placed it on a low heat, and added salt, red chili powder, and sugar to taste.
I added half a cup of vinegar to it and kept stirring it slowly with a spoon so that it does not burn from the bottom and I also kept the flame low.
At this point, my best herbal ketchup with garlic is ready. It is beautifully and hygienically done.
I allow it to cool and transfer, it into my jar and seal. Here is my username

In preparation of homemade ketchup with garlic, I did not experience any difficulties because I followed my teacher's instruction on how to do it tactfully.
To make new things, it is advisable to abide by the rules and instructions given. Using the same measurements will help attend to a pleasing results. My first time of making homemade ketchup turn excellent and a excited about that.
Reading this contest,I was curious thinking of outcome but after that preparation, I have 💯/💯 yummy and palatable taste .
What do you say about the taste and freshness of the homemade ketchup which you have prepared as compared to the market ketchup?
There is a big difference in taste, note that in the preparation of this homemade ketchup we use fresh, natural ingredients while supermarket bought ketchup may contain high-fructose corn syrup, artificial flavours and preservatives.
The taste,the texture is superior to what got at the super stores.
Homemade ketchup has quality preparation with low sugar and sodium contain and it is complex, nuanced flavour profile.
I really appreciate the challenge because I never thought of preparing ketchup at home.
