You're welcome :D How long have you been doing photography?
For about...two weeks? LOL! Actually, it started because I decided to branch out from my nearly solely fiction blog I had going on here. I am continuing with the fiction of course, in fact I've just started posting chapters for the second book of a series. But I wanted to start reaching a wider audience. The initial idea for 'dreemit's world' was that I would write about the area we live in. It's quite beautiful and there's a great deal of interesting and historical stuff around. Naturally a blog like that requires pictures and as I began taking them (starting with the walk to my secret fort a couple of weeks back) I found that I not only really enjoyed it, but I had a bit of an eye for it.
I've been using a camera app on my phone, but my husband just bought me a Canon Powershot. Nothing extraordinarily fancy, but definitely better than what I had, and maybe as I continue I'll upgrade.
Here's a pretty cool shot- it's of a fossil I took out of the lake, or I should say a rock that's embedded with a bunch of tiny fossils.
I'll probably do an entire post on these fossils soon :)
Wow. 2 weeks and you are really good. Really liking that Fossil shot. I tried getting into photography, though was hard because I lived in city at the time. Where I live now has prairies. Iive in the prairie state (Illinois) Much more interesting than a city :D
