Thank you Erikah my soaps are really looking great this year. I seem to have turned to more of a Vegan line that looks very natural. I will soon start doing some posts for all to see.

I would really appreciate your effort! I'm planning to make some myself but first I need to learn the basics. I know it's not easy and can be dangerous too.

You would be surprised at how much fun you will have. Handling the lye and being careful not to touch the soap during making it is key. Gloves and goggles are important to be safe. I make 2 batches a day most days and have never had an issue.

That's why I want to learn as much as possible first. Thank you very much for the warning.
My grandmother used to make soap but she used animal fat and her soap was not fancy, no perfume, no color, no nothing. She raised four kids alone during the war, she made soap out of necessity. She did the washing with that soap. :)

I had a grandmother that did the same. She had 12 kids and everything was made by hand back then on the farm. You will enjoy making soap. there are a lot of videos on You Tube that are great.
