RE: If You Feel Strongly STEEM Needs Something, You're Probably The One To Do It
I downloaded Brave recently in the hope of earning some through watching ads but, so far, I've not seen any. 😂

yeah, I don't know, @gillianpearce. Sounds like some are using it somehow, and the rest of us will see it soon. :)
I haven't really taken the time to go through the list that's available (there's something like 90,000 authorized publishers), to see what I might want to read and then tip or give BAT to. It's not like I'm over thrilled about clicking on ads even if I do get paid, but hey, if that's what they want to do, I'll at least try it out. :)
I’ve verified my sites if you’ve got some BAT burning a hole in your pocket!
bryanimhoff.com, ithoughtitwouldbezombies.com, appetitefordistractioncomic.com
I like the passive function of how it can disperse BAT to sites you’re interacting with most. I think BAT has an interesting future and can be very complimentary to Steem sites & content.
Hey, @bryan-imhoff.
Okay, I'll have to go take a look. Does it not work with a Steemit blog? Or are you running steempress from these others? I guess I'm wondering if I would need to use my own blog site. Someone, can't remember who, seemed to suggest Steemit blogs might work.
I definitely like the concept, and wish it seemed more user friendly than I've been able to figure out. :)
I don’t know of a way to do it with a Steemit blog as of yet, though I could be wrong. Steemit itself could verify, but any BAT would go to them instead of individual authors. I believe YouTube channels are individualized, but only because Brave created a means of doing so, obviously because of the huge userbase! I’m sure it’s possible for them to break out individual accounts/sub domains on any site with some effort or cooperation.
Verification for the sites I did involved placing a specific verification file in the web directory, which obviously can’t be done on Steem blogs at present.
But yes, I do dabble with SteemPress and other plugins too!
The normal browser isn’t running ads yet, I believe you have to download a beta or developer build version to test it out. It should roll out to everyone pretty soon I believe.
Ah. I see. Thanks @bryan-imhoff. 😊
You have to be using the beta build right now.
