We now have 102 minnows that are growing and tracking their progress and road to dolphin-hood. We also have 15 graduates. Together this week, the league member's have powered up a total of 6019.008 Steem Power. All participants since joining have powered up a massive 122985.856 SP. The Minnow Power-up League
Every Thursday we will be using SteemSQL database managed by @arcange to gather details on the Owned SP for each person that has entered the league. The current weekly owned SP will be compared to the SP held last week. The person with the highest SP growth for the current week will be on top of the leader board.
There are 4 levels depending on your SP levels. Once you graduate from one, you will be automatically placed on the next. When you graduate from the 4th you will be placed on the Minnow Wall of Fame. As this post could get rather long with the 4 levels, as we grow, we may consider splitting this into different posts on different days.
Level 1
Congratulations to @dalz being first in the league this week with a massive power up of 258.93SP. You also graduated from level 1 to level 2.
In second is @mathowl and third is @fullcoverbetting. Well done the both of you!
Also in the top ten is @heyimsnuffles, @mango-juice, @clicked, @bashadow, @kaerpediem, @nonsowrites and @practicalthought. Well done on the Power-ups, if you bought STEEM I hope you got a good price :-)

Level 2
There are now 26 participants on level 2, and this weeks winner is @veryspider with an amazing SP growth of 624.107 this week. You also graduate from level 2 to level 3.
Congratulations also to @cryptoandcoffee who finished in second place this week. You also graduate from level 2 to level 3.
On the home stretch this week from level to is @anthonyadavisii, @ericwilson and @gniksivart - keep going level 3 is in sight.
Level 3
@macoolette you are first in this weeks level 3 league with an SP growth of 1168.951, nice!. You also graduate from level 3 to level 4.

Slowly, slowly :) Some have really flown up the charts though too!
I guess that it is a step by step progress. The top 5 of the different league vary a lot.
This X powers up a lot, next week Y and Z.
I have completed already 26% of ky road to dolphinhood! So 2 years more to go, or longer of steem takes off 😁

Doubt it! It also depends on the price of Steem. The lower it is, the easier it is to accumulate. The higher it gets, the pace of accumulation decreases.
Also the past 3 weeks, I did swap some SCR for steem, which explains the powering up. From this week on I will be back at the regular oace of around 20 to 25 SP per week 😔
Guess I need some whale votes 🤔

I've plotted your history so far and made a rough calc to plot 2019, you could be up to 25 SP gained for the month of Decemeber this year :)

re: contestants
Up and up they go! Where they stop, nobody knows!
Congratulations to all the winners, and to everyone who experienced some form of three digit SP growth or more. Everyone who is building stake is winning, really.
Many of us have taken advantage of the lower prices to help our SP rise, too, and while the prices were lowest, the ability to acquire SP on chain has been at it's highest since I've been here.
So, now is the time to do it as much as possible, because at some point, the prices go up and the ability to build stake decreases.
No additions to the dolphin Wall of Fame list this week, but it looks like @macoolette is practically there in one fell swoop, and @materthematrix is inching closer. Who will be next? That's what I'm watching the closest. :)

Yep, @macoolette. No better time than the present, because the future is too unpredictable when it comes to most things, and crypto in particular. So, if at all possible, this is when we load up, or possibly regret that we didn't. :)

This is the case at present, and with a little luck it will become more difficult to acquire but our wallets will look healthier :)
It seems like I'm always saying something like that, knowing that there are folks such as yourself trying to make a go of it on STEEM alone (something I would love to be doing myself). For you and I and those others wanting to live off of it I wish for higher prices, while also wishing for lower prices for those of us who are still trying to catch up and build stake from not getting in sooner.
In the end, my wishing one way or the other is neither here nor there, but it is kind of a strange place to be. Hopefully, everyone who can and wants to invest has, or will soon, because outside of being destitute, not having any discretionary income or no say in its use, if you have faith at all in STEEM, there's less reason not to buy now than there will be when STEEM goes up.
Congrats to all the future dolphins grinding away at this great opportunity we currently have to accumulate plenty of Steem! Don’t forget to support the project and each other!

Just trying to catch the low price. It is no longer as low as when I first started buying in December but it is way much lower when I joined Steem. If it was that high before, I believe.it will rise again. Thank you! 😊
I have been doing the America’s thing. It is way better then $7 steem. I am hopeful that I can pick some more up in February.
