I, too, am compassionate for people in dire need, as are some in the approaching caravan. I demur in that I object to my tax dollars supporting these "travelers" once they get here. No government "donations" were given to my forebears when they immigrated here. None. And yet, here I am, standing on the shoulders of my ancestors. Perhaps, those people who are trucking, busing, feeding and clothing them on their journey will continue doing so whilst they find jobs? ;-)
