Empecé a jugar a un juego llamado #Pentris. Es básicamente como el Tetris: los bloques caen desde arriba y hay que rotarlos y colocarlos. Aunque parece fácil, en realidad no lo es en absoluto. Si un bloque no se coloca en el lugar correcto, todo el tablero se vuelve un desastre.

Cuando jugué por primera vez, me di cuenta de que no solo era para entretenerse, sino también para ejercitar la mente. Tenía que pensar en muchas cosas a la vez: cómo caía el bloque, dónde encajaría correctamente y cómo llegaría el siguiente. Al principio, mis números eran muy bajos, y también pensé que no sería capaz de dominar el juego en absoluto.

Pero a medida que iba despejando líneas una tras otra, la diversión se duplicaba. Sobre todo cuando algunas líneas colapsaban a la vez, sentía que realmente había conseguido una pequeña victoria. A veces, claro, los bloques se atascaban de tal manera que sentía que "esta vez se acabó el juego". Pero incluso entonces, quería volver a intentarlo.

Lo que más me gustaba era que, mientras jugaba aquí, no pensaba realmente en ganar ni en perder. Mi actitud era: "Aprendamos, no nos divirtamos, y veamos hasta dónde puedo llegar". Me planteaba un pequeño reto en cada paso, como "Tengo que aumentar mi puntuación anterior al menos un poco". Y ese esfuerzo hacía que el juego pareciera más interesante.

Finalmente, sentí que #steemretrogames no es solo un sitio de juegos, sino una forma de superar la felicidad de los viejos tiempos. Para quienes recuerdan jugar videojuegos de niños, esta vez será como un viaje.

First of all, my numbers were very few, and I also thought that I would not be able to master the game at all.

But as I slowly started clearing lines one after another, the fun doubled. Especially when a few lines collapsed at once, it felt like I had really won a small victory. Sometimes, of course, the blocks got stuck in such a way that it felt like, "This time the game is over." But even then, I wanted to try again.

What I liked the best was that while playing here, I didn't really think of winning or losing. My attitude was, "Let's learn, don't have fun, and see how far I can go. I was giving myself a small challenge at each step, such as "I have to increase my previous score by at least a little." And that effort made the game seem more interesting.

Finally, I felt that #steemretrogames is not just a game site, but a way to overcome the happiness of the old days. For those who have memories of playing video games as a child, this time will look like a trip.
