I am not a father but I have learned so much from my own dad i have seen his love care and struggles. So in this post i will write from the heart based on my fathers experience and what i have observed about fatherhood. I hope my post will touch your heart.

What is the most difficult thing about being a father for the first time?

The most difficults thing about being a father for the first times is handling the new responsibilities. A man becomes a father and suddenly everything in his life changes. He has to think about his child’s future health safety and education. He must become stronger more patient and more caring. My father told me that when i was born he felt very happy but also scared. He did not know how to holds a newborn baby. He stayed awaked all night to check if I was breathing. It was not easy. Everything was new. He had to learn how to care for a baby support my mother and also go to work. That pressure is very hard for a first-time father.

Have you ever felt exhausted or tired during your role as a father? How did you or do you handle it?

Yes i have seen my father feeling very tired many times. He used to go to work early in the morning and comes home late then he helped us with our schoolwork or took us to the doctor if we were sick. He told me that sometimes he felt completely exhausted but he never gave up. He said “Whenever i see you smile all my tiredness goes away.” He used to sit quietly in the evening drink a cup of tea and listen to the news. That was his way of relaxing. He handled his stress with patience and love.

Is there an appropriate age to be a father? What was your experience like?

I believe there is no perfect age to be a father. Some men become fathers in their early 20s and some in their late 30s. What really matters is your mental readiness not your age. My father became a dad at 28. He said he was ready to take care of a family. For him 28 was a good age. But every person is different. Some people may be ready earlier and others later.

Does the education and affection your father gave you define who you are with your children today? Did your father teach you anything valuable?

Yes definitely. The love and lessons my father gave me helped shape the person i am today. He always said “Respect everyone never lie and always help others.” He taught me how to be honest and kind. He was also very educated and helped me in my studies. He never forced us but always guided us in the right way. One valuable thing he taught me is: “Money is important but good character is everything.”

How do you describe yourself as a father?

I am not a father yet but if i become one in the future i want to be like my father—kind loving and strong. I will play with my children teach them good values and always support them. I will not only give them toys but also my time. I want to be their friend guide and protector. I will raise them with love discipline and respect.

Since i do not have a child yet i cannot share a picture with a son or daughter. But i would love to shared a beautiful photo of my father. It reminds me of all the good times we shared and how much love my father gave me. This photo is very special to me.

Being a father is not easy. It is a big responsibility but also a great joy. A father gives his best without expecting anything in returned he works hard every day to give his family a better life. I respects my father deeply and i thank all the fathers in the world for their love and sacrifices. May Allah bless all fathers with good health peace and long life. Ameen🤲.
