surprises you most abouts the person you have chosen?
The things that surprises me most about Abdul Sattar Edhi is how simples he was. Even when he becames very famous and respected he nevered lived a fancy life. He had a big charity foundation but he still wore simple clothes slept on the floor and never bought a big house or car. He did not cares about money or name. He only wanted to served humanity. Another surprising things is that he started his works with just a few rupees. He had no big supports or help. But his strong heart and honest works made his foundation grow so much that it becames one of the biggest in the world. This shows hows a single person with goods intentions can changed many lives.
What do you consider to be their most significant achievement?
His most important achievement is the Edhi Foundation which helps millions of people in Pakistan and even in other countries. It provides free ambulance services hospitals orphanages homes for elderly people centers for women burial services and much more. The Edhi ambulances service is the largests volunteert ambulance network in the world. It is even written in the Guinness World Records. This is a big achievement for one man who started with just one old ambulance and a big heart. Also the Edhi Foundation does not care about religion l caste or language. It helps everyone and that is a true message of humanity.
Provide a briefly biography related to your characters.
Abdul Sattar Edhis was born in 1928 in Gujarats Britishs India. After the partitions he and his family moved to Karachi Pakistan. He learned kindness from his mother who used to help poor women. When she becames sick and paralyzed Edhi tooks cared of her by himself. This experienced made him realize the importance of helping others. In 1951 he opened his first free medicals center in Karachi. He also bought an old van and started an ambulance service by driving it himself. Slowly people saw his honesty and started giving him donations. With that money he built more centers and shelters. His wife Bilquis Edhi was also a kind nurse. She helped him a lot in his mission. Together they made the Edhi Foundation a strong and trusted name. People gave him the title "Angel of Mercy." Even international news called him one of the world’s greatest humanitarians. He passed away on 8th July 2016 and the whole nation cried. He was given a state funeral which is a big honor in Pakistan. He was buried in a simple grave with a Pakistani flag just like he lived a simple life.
If that character had social media what type of content would they share?
If Abdul Sattar Edhi had social media i think he would use it only for good causes. He would not post about his personal life or do show-off. He would share stories of poor people who need help pictures of children from orphanges or information about patients who need donations. He would also post kind and motivational messages to inspire others to do good work. He might even make videos showing how volunteers help people during floods accidents or emergencies. His social media would be full of kindness care and humanity. Maybe he would also guide young people to work hard and serve others. He would never waste time online – he would use social media to save lives and spread love.
Abdul Sattar Edhi is one of the best examples of how a person can do great things without being rich or powerful. He lived a very simple life but he helped millions. He showed the world thats humanity is above everythings. His name will always stayed in our hearts. I learned from him that we shoulds not wait to be rich to help others. We can start with small things – a kind word a helping hand or a small donation. I hope to follow his path in my life and spread kindness.
