Hello my steemit friends i hope you are doing well and enjoying life. I enjoy writing and taking part in contests because it gives me a chance to share my thoughts and memories. Today i am very happy to write about a beautiful topic – “Becoming a child again.” Childhood is a special time that never comes back but its memories always stay in our hearts. In this post i will answer the questions of the contest and share my sweet and funny childhood moments.

As a child were you studious or on the contrary did your parents have to constantly tell you to study?

As a child i was not very studious. My parents had to constantly tell me to study. I used to find excuses to avoid homework. Sometimes i would say “I’m sleepy ” or “I will study after playing.” My mother always had to sit beside me and remind me to open my books. My father also helped me with math problems but i was not interested at all. I loved playing outside drawing and watching cartoons. But slowly with the support of my parents i started giving more attentions to my studies. Now i understands the importance of learning and i thank my parents for guiding me with love and cared.

Did you have a favorite toy? If you still have it show us a selfie with it.

I had a favorite toy in childhood. It was a small soft teddy bear. I named it “Gugu.” It had white fur and a red heart on its chest. I used to carry Gugu everywhere even to weddings and family visits. At night i would hug it and fall asleep. It was my best friend. I talked to it and shared my little secrets. Sadly i don’t have it now. Over the years it got old and damaged. But even today when i see teddy bears in shops i remember my Gugu and smile.

Do you agree with the education you received or would you like to change something?

About the education i received i feel it was good but i would like to change a few things. In school we were taught many subjects but most of the focus was on reading writing and exams. There was less time for creativity games or learning about feelings. I wish there were more fun activities art classes and lessons about emotions and kindness. I believe education should also teach us how to be good people and how to handle stress. Still i feels thankful for the teachers who worked hards to teach us. They were kinds and patient and they helped me becomes who i am today.

What was your favorite game as a child?

My favorite games as a child was “hide and seek.” I loved playings it with my cousins and neighbors in the evenings. One persons had to count while others hid. I always tried to hide in tricky places like behind the curtain or under the bed. Sometimes no one could find me for a long time and i felt like the winner! Another game i enjoyed was “house-house.” We acted like parents cooked with plastic kitchen sets and made tea using sand. These games were full of fun and laughter. I still remembered those times with a big smile.

What was your favorite movie as a child?

My favorite movie as a child was “Tom and Jerry.” I know it’s a cartoon but to me it was a full movie with action comedy and fun. I used to laugh so much while watching it. The way Jerry always fooled Tom was so funny. I never got tired of watching the same episodes again and again. I also liked some Disney movies but Tom and Jerry had a special place in my heart. It taught me that even in fighting there can be fun and friendship.

If i could become a child again i would enjoy every moment more deeply. I would play more hug my teddy tighter and listen more carefully to my parents and teachers. Childhood is the golden time of life. There are no big worries only small joys and sweet dreams. Now life is full of responsibilities but those innocent memories always bring peace to my heart.
