Alone at Sea

There is something haunting and poetic about drifting alone in the middle of a vast lake.
This photo captures that solitude, a tiny boat floating in a sea of silence, embraced by still water and shadows.

Shot in North Quebec on a long uphill hike with my Nikon D40 and 50mm lens, this moment stayed with me.
The textures, the distance, the contrast between nature’s edge and human fragility.
To me, this is not just landscape photography, it is a metaphor for life.

Sometimes, you must float in the quiet to truly hear yourself.
