The Alien Ship / The World of XPILAR - CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #241

Rotterdam always had a futuristic edge, but the new central station truly feels like a spaceship dropped in the middle of the city. The architecture cuts through the skyline like a blade, metallic and bold, reflecting the moody Dutch sky. I captured this with my Nikon D40 and analog 50mm 1.8f lens on a cold grey day, drawn to the contrast between the old vertical tower and the modern angular shell. This is the kind of cityscape I love—where design and imagination collide. Shot on my last day of living there for the at least 7 years, took the train and lever came back again, i sure do miss it at times...
