Burkina Faso and Ghana are scheduled to play their 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations group B game on 2019-02-03. Burkina Faso qualified after a bye in the 1st round then winning 6-4 over Libya in the 2nd round and scoring a 4-1 win over Gabon in the final round. Their best previous performance in this tournament was 4th place in 2003. Ghana qualified after a bye in the 1st round then winning 2-0 versus Algeria in the 2nd round and 4-2 over Benin in the final round. Their last championship was in 2009.
