A Poem Dedicated to baking Cookies, Patience for a Tasty Goal!!!

sitting on a pan
little clumps of cookies
the dough fresh,
through the glass I'm looking
and waiting.

as the heat moves into them
they begin to rise and spread
becoming a real cookie
the final product
achieved.

But before you must have
patience, wait for the results,
do not rush them,
and wait for the fresh flavor
of a warm
baked
cookie.

there is nothing better
the ultimate treat
of stress relief
a cookie,
baking, the act
the art
of creation.
