Cooking vlog 10|| Egg Plant Sauce With Boiled Yam
Hi guys welcome to my cooking vlog today!
I'm going to be showing you how i cooked egg plant today, I cooked the egg plant sauce and boiled yam.
Egg plant is a vegetable that has a lot of health benefits to the body. It is related to tomato, pepper and has a white fleshy body inside while it skin is purple in colour.
Egg plant is rich in fiber and has low content if carbohydrates which means it has low calories which makes is a good meal for weight control or management.
Egg plant is good for those that has high blood glucose level as it will help to reduce blood glucose level, it also helps reduce blood pressure.
Egg plant is a good source of immune boaster and antioxidants, it is a vegetable that we need to be consuming on atleast a weekly basis.
Ingredients
- Egg plant
- Boiled egg
- Palm oil
- Crayfish
- Pepper
- Seasoning cubes
- Salt
- Onion
- African oil bean
- Fresh tomatoes
- Curry leaf
Fresh egg plant
I peeled the egg plant, washed and boiled it
Peeled the yam, wash and boiled it
Done boiling the egg plant, so i blended it and set it aside for the sauce.

**Now that all the ingredients is ready, Let's start cooking the sauce, to start, i place a dry pot on the fire then added palm oil to it and allow it heat **
I add d onion to the pot and fry it, it helps to add a little flavour to the sauce.
I added fresh tomatoes to it and stir consistently to avoid getting burnt
I added African oil bean to the sauce and continue stirring the pot.
Added crayfish and pepper to the sauce and keep stirring
Added seasoning and salt to taste and some spices to add more flavour to it.
I added the blended egg plant to the sauce and stir it consistently to avoid getting burnt and to mixed well.
I added curry leaf to the sauce to add some flavour that makes the sauce appetizing
I finally added my protein, i used boiled egg
