Cooking vlog 7||Cooking with Hake fish
Hake fish is one of those fish people in my area like so much to use for party mostly in party rice.
I was moved to do some research about the fish and after reading about it I found so many things that makes this fish one of my best protein so far. The fish has low fats and of course low calories which makes it a healthy choice for me as I'm on weight control.
It is rich in omega-3 fatty acid which is helpful in brain and heart health, it contains vitamins especially vitamin B12, high source of protein and lots more.
After discovering all these things about hake fish, I was moved to buy it and consume it with my family. So on this fateful day, I wanted to cook melon soup and so I decided to go for hake fish as my protein.

There are different steps in cooking melon soup, everyone has their own method but I will be showing you my recipe with the hake fish.
Place the pot on fire and add your palm oil to it
Add onion to the oil
Add melon to it and stir consistently to fry
Added a little stock water and continue stirring
Added periwinkle and snail to the pot and stir
Go in with beef together with the stock and stir consistently and allow it to simmer for 2 minutes
Go in with crayfish
Go in with onga classic seasoning, salt and pepper to taste
Go in with water leaf
Allow it to simmer for 3 minutes
Go in with the hake fish, I added it last because I didn't want to see it scattered
Finally, go in with bitter leaf

This food was really delicious, I like the fact that this fish will never scatter in the soup and it's nutritious value worth it.
Hake fish gives this refreshing taste after eating it, the combo with the melon soup was really refreshing as well.
Buy the fish in the market and give yourself a treat.
