Careless Cupcake
I decided to give Illustrator a try. Didn’t know what to do, but my stomach passive-aggressively suggested a cupcake, so there it is! Kinda. It doesn’t look like a cupcake at all.
I got Illustrator CS6, which I’m coming to realize doesn’t come with the useful tools the new versions do, so my workflow is pretty slow and awkward; I had a hard time shaping the topping, too. I’m aware the halftone is an overkill, but I really wanted to try it– I just messed around and stuck to a ‘small and cute’ design, while I checked out the interface.
I could’ve done way worse, so I’m not disappointed. This is part of the learning process.
