Intro Blog - Health/Tech in Regular Words

About me:

I am over fifty and new here. I found the Freewriters community to start with for now. I like anything that contains the word 'free' because it is important to be free. I came to this platform because a friend told me that there is no censorship here. That sounds radical. I have lost a lot of content on the big platforms largely due to the division that exists in our society as of the last few years. I never post anything offensive or anything like that.

I deal in facts and and write about technical things, but I try to put it all into easy to understand, every day, language. I will start the timer and see if I can get the writing juices going - if they start flowing, the longer version will be outside this community or maybe do just five minutes per day.

Timer on

Over the last few years, I have been noticing abnormalities in every day life, dreams, and health issues that seem grave or that would be irreversible, then they just go away without any medication or intervention. As an example: The first thing I notices was a buzzing sensation in my left thigh, right where my cell phone sits when it is in my pocket. I noticed that I was getting notifications all the time, yet only one it ten actually coincided with a real message or email.

That went on for months. I was very frustrated, so much so that I changed to another phone. It is good to get a new phone. who would not want that? Since it was new, I did not have it set to silent. I did not have many applications on it and would not be getting many messages. The strangest part of that change was that I was still getting vibrations in that same spot. I guess I just got used to it and even ignored it.

One day, it was actually night time. I had fallen asleep on the couch and I felt a notification come in. I went for my pocket but my phone was not there. The sensation continued. Vvvvvvvvt - vvvvvv. Then again after what I guess to be ten seconds. That happened starting on ---date--- and continued to happen on my left thigh for at least a year. Then it was gone! I never felt notification-like vibrations in that part of my body again since.

This and many other kinds of oddities are what I keep track of. I write them down when I experience them - that is why I have the date of the first occurrence. There are more and I want to use my account here to write about them and see if any of what I have noticed rings a bell with others who read this.

That's it. I hit the five minute mark.

Everything I write is my own work unless otherwise noted and referenced
