How I Spent My Day | 20-05-2025

Hello guys,
I welcome you all to my blog. It's another day of the week, and I'm delighted to share with you all how I spent my day. It was Friday, which was the last day of the working week, and as usual I was supposed to go to school, but I couldn't because I had other things to attend to.

I got a message from Salome that morning that she wanted me to accompany her to the airport to pick up her family, which was her husband and her daughter. They came in from Nigeria to the UK. So I decided to go ahead with her that morning. Before going, I decided to do all the needed tasks which I was supposed to do.

We went to the airport that morning, and we arrived during noon because we had to take a public bus, which had to pass through the streets of Manchester. It took us about two buses, which is about a 3-hour journey from where we are staying. It was an amazing reunion between the families, and they were very excited.

I came back home and then went ahead to microwave the little food I had, and immediately after eating, I decided to take my bath, and then I started working on my assessment once again. I worked on my assessment for a while, and then I decided to rest a bit because it has been a hectic day for me.

While I was resting, I got a call from Salome requesting that I come and help her carry some of her load outside because she was packing to her new home. I went and helped her alongside other scholars, and we stayed with her until she was able to get a taxi and then she left.

I came back to my room, and then I decided to go through my assessment once again, and while doing that, I also had time to discuss with a few friends online. I finally rested thereafter. That was how I spent my day.
