What I Wish I Knew Before Starting Crypto

When I started in crypto, I was lost.
I was clicking on everything. FOMO’ing into trash coins.
I bought random courses. I ignored security. I chased hype.

I don’t regret starting — but I do wish someone had told me these things early on.

So if you’re new, or thinking about getting into crypto… read this first.

  1. 💡 You Don’t Need to Know Everything to Start
    Crypto can feel overwhelming.
But you don’t need to understand all the tech. You just need:

A wallet

A platform to earn (like Steemit or Freebitco.in)

A reason to keep going

I spent too much time researching instead of doing.

👉 Start small. Learn as you go.

  1. 🧠 You’re Going to Lose Money at Some Point
    Yes — it happens. You’ll:

Send to the wrong address

Buy a meme coin that crashes

Get rugged on a “free” airdrop

It sucks, but it teaches. Don’t let it stop you. Let it sharpen you.

  1. 🔐 Security First, Always
I didn’t write down my seed phrases. I reused passwords. I clicked scammy links.

Now? I use:

Offline backups

2FA

A separate browser for crypto

The first person to hack you… is usually you.

  1. 📈 Take Profits in the Bull, Stack in the Bear
    I held too long.
I thought the market would “keep going up.”
    Then it didn’t.

Take profit when you're up.
Buy and build when it’s quiet.

Don’t let greed or fear decide for you. Create a plan and stick to it.

  1. 🧱 Consistency Beats Genius
You don’t have to be a trader or coder to win.
You just have to show up.

Write weekly

Use faucets daily

Promote your links monthly

Stack little by little

That’s how I made my first $100 in crypto. That’s how I’ll make my first $10K too.

  1. 🌍 This Is Bigger Than Just Money
    Crypto helped me:

Escape the bank system

Connect with global communities

Take control of my income

Think beyond my country’s limits

It’s not just about coins — it’s about freedom.

✊ Final Thoughts
If you're reading this and you're just starting — I’m proud of you.
I wish I had someone like me when I began. Now I am that person for you.

Start. Learn. Mess up. Keep going.
