Thanks for the advice Brett. These are the things that keep me awake at night! I like your point about finding an exchange that will be regulated and insured from the government. Also providing good tax implications is a must. I personally have all my crypto on different paper wallets like you suggest. I only use my laptop for Steemit! But it might be wise to buy a new one only to access the web for your wallet. I NEVER use public wifis. I guess you could diverse some holdings on different big exchanges as well. I will never use a Treznor - I've heard too many horror stories, just my 2 satosthis. I like the post! Keep it up.
