Here is the best Crypto Tax Advice for 2019
Hey everybody how you doing I don't know where to start I'm a little worked up so yesterday I see someone on YouTube oh by the way this is November 17th middle of the afternoon and I saw this article yesterday Saturday the 16th and I guess most of my comments are gonna be limited to those living in the United States cuz I don't know what it's like outside the United States when it comes to taxes and here's what I don't want to sound like an old guy that wants to correct somebody cuz I know better
but for those of you that follow me you follow me for a reason you trust me maybe you don't like me but you like the content that I put out and I say this a lot if you know me in person I'm a fun guy to be around super encouraging you know love to ask a lot of questions I'm rarely negative okay but I saw this person on YouTube last night and he was giving cryptocurrency tax advice and I'm like every other piece of advice that the guy said I'm like dude that's not true why are you just saying this stuff to tickle people's ears to subscribe to your channel so let me give you the best crypto advice I can don't listen to youtubers to get your tax advice how about that don't listen to a 28 year old person giving you tax advice about moving to Puerto Rico about you know initiating tax loopholes that that this person doesn't know anything about or how to avoid taxes there's two things in life at least if you live in the United States you're going to pay taxes and why did we run away from paying taxes I don't understand it I don't I just don't understand it so maybe not a long rant but please do not get your cryptocurrency tax advice from Yahoo's on YouTube please don't and you don't need a lawyer you don't need some fancy tax accountant all you need is at the end of the year go to like a franchise tax service and they'll do you're right okay don't worry about worry more about making money in the crypto spaced and you are about avoiding taxes how about that work harder on being smart about how to huddle and when to sell when you're ready to sell then using all your energy how to avoid paying taxes I again I'm 61 I've heard that from self-employed people and crypto people that it's just like if some of my friends worked as hard on getting new business than they were avoiding taxes or looking for it you don't need to look for tax loopholes ask your accountant ask your tax adviser at the end of the year
Wrong advice.
Do NOT ask your tax accountant/advisor at the END of the year.
You MUST ask at the BEGINNING of the year, so that you know how to protect yourself in advance.
Perhaps the poster believes that all armies should only provide training after their cadets have faced real battles and bullets?
So, if the You Tube guy gave wrong advice...this makes you no better than him, doesn't it?
