Thanks for the heads up. There is need for one to effectively and securely store our keys and passwords. I know what it feels to lose keys/passwords cause it happened to me once. So, I think your method is nice but stressful though.

I can imagine how awful it is to lose your keys. This method is definitely overkilling it. However, writing it down and putting it in a waterproof plastic container is a good idea. I just bought a passport sized notebook and put all my passwords in there. I know if someone finds it I'm screwed, but the issue with encrypting something is losing the file or the password which is more likely.

Your measures is quite very unconventional but lovely. Someone better not steals it.

I choose to store mine as mails.

By mail, I hope you don't mean email. Billions of emails have been hacked. Also, since you can access it from anywhere, someone can steal it without the inconvenience of having to go to your home.
