I comment on most videos I watch. With that said I don't know if I've watched many of your videos. I completely understand why @nathanmars is upset and it's the same reason why I post and comment every day. I want engagement and become energized by that engagement but I see what he sees. Most videos I comment on, i see and say man this is a good video and then notice no comments. Why is that? Its frustrating.
hmm, see I guess it depends on what you want to see happen with the video you put out, for me, it's like a post it note, how do you get better at video making if you are not making and putting them out. if I waited for people to leave comments and used that as my own barometer of progress I'd get nowhere. I guess it comes down to the person too, why you do it, what you expect to receive..

commenting is great sure, engagement is different and I think we need to expand on that of how we can all work together to get to a bigger destination together.
I see two audiences -- the one that is the automation of the blockchain algorithm and the other is the real world of people, people like to have relationships before they start commenting of have things in common often -- I mean I don't just walk into a bar and sit down with a group of people who are already drinking, you have to have an in -- I think just doing these comments allows that to happen.
I'm not saying that videos are dictated by the comments received but I do believe that comments are equal engagement. Comments are also content, as I have said in other videos I've made because you also get upvotes for comments. There is value in commenting and I don't understand why more people don't comment for that reason alone.

maybe they have busy lives, who knows, multiple reasons, I know for me video is a like a muscle I exercise ;)
