Many Egyptians worshipped the goddess Bast, who had a woman’s body and a cat’s head.

i really don't know about it. are you from Egypt ?

Many people in China consider cats a "warming" food that is perfect to eat during the winter

yes i know little bittle about it. there are many people in the world who eat different animals like cats, dogs, pig etc.

The silks created by weavers in Baghdad were inspired by the beautiful and varied colors and markings of cat coats. These fabrics were called \tabby\" by European traders."""

and i thinks may be it's only a story with a character of goddess Bast, which not existed in reality. someone create such a character & story and many people start to worshiped her without any sense. i am saying it because she is not present or exist now. It is not reasonable that the Lord(i'm using lord because people worshiped her ) of this universe is dead.
we should be worshiped someone who should have eternal life. never died, nor will He die later on. If God (lord) can die, who else may look after the universe after His death?
