Usher's self titled debut album has been underwhelming, and finally, he achieved his breakthrough via his album "My Way". The lead single off the album has been "You Make Me Wanna...", a guitar tinged R&B track. It reached number 2 in US Billboard Hot 100, and even gone 3x platinum. It also became Usher's first number 1 hit in UK Singles chart, where it was certified platinum. The song became a number 8 hit in Eurochart Hot 100.
