Salsa Video : Rueda Salsa Docks 2016 / Strasbourg (France)
Every year in Strasbourg, my city, we organize during the summer the Salsa Docks. The venue for this event has changed a lot, but it started on the old Docks in Strasbourg. So we chose to keep the name.
This is to invite everyone to dance salsa during the summer.

Initiations are given to beginners for half an hour and then the more experienced dancers turn the street into a dance floor. In the middle of the evening, one dances what is called a rueda (circle in spanish). It is as its name suggests to make an enormous circle (rueda), then on an entire music to dance in harmony with music under the orders of what is called the leader who gives the name of each figure On the first beat of the previous measure :-) (small nod to musical ears here).
To make this video, I record 6 different assignments on the same music and fimer the whole with a gopro hero 4 black in position Wide. To be able to move by minimizing the footsteps, I mounted my gopro on a feiyu G4 that works great.

I then used the multicam function on final cut X to sync each plan with music in superior MP3 quality. It was enough for me then to choose my plans and to make a small mix between the sound of the recording and the sound of the music of origin.
I hope you will have as much pleasure in seeing it as I do to realize it and see you soon.
